The Altra Vanish Carbon is a race day shoe design to give you comfort and performance for long-distance speed.

Designed to flex naturally with your foot, a carbon plate provides an added boost and propulsion through your stride. Wrapped around the carbon plate, ALTRA EGO PRO is the lightest midsole foam Altra make, designed for cushioned comfort mile after mile.

Called an active stance rocker, the upward curve on the forefoot starts further back than any previous Altra shoe, designed to give a more efficient toe-off.

With the same amount of cushioning under the heel as at the forefoot, this zero-drop build gives you natural balance, aligning your feet, back and body posture. This improved posture promotes proper form, which can reduce initial impact by 3-5 times as well as improve your running.

A wider, “footshape” toe box lets your foot spread, providing a natural, more powerful position for your big toe, for improved stability and toe offs. Gender specific shaping ensures everyone can make the most of their potential.
